Tapout Knockout Carlisle fighters put on show for Ian Freeman
TWO resilient Carlisle fighters have been praised by MMA titan Ian The Machine Freeman after competing in the octagon last weekend.
Both fighters, Carlisle-based, took on tough opponents at Gatesheads iconic venue, The Fed, on May 6.
Bradley Tedham won his K1 kickboxing fight with a drop in the second round.
Jerzy Kolkowski also fought a great kickboxing fight but was unfortunately counted out by the referee after being jarred against the cage.
Both fighters, who train at Tapout Knockout Carlisle, shone brightly in the cage at Freemans signature event, receiving plaudits from the man himself.
Coach Michael Tedham said: Bradley dominated every round and Jerzy fought a great fight but got caught with a massive left hook, dropping him against the cage.
Both lads gave it their all from start to finish.
Ian Freeman said Tapout Knockout Carlisle conducted themselves very professionally at his show and looks forward to seeing more from Tapout Knockout Carlisle in the future, he said.
Michael, who is Bradleys coach and father, said it was a very proud moment.
Im a very proud father and coach, its great to give these lads positive futures and let them show why we train in club, thank you so much to all the fans that come to support us, he said.
In March, 21-year-old from the club, Charlie Walker also left the former Cage Rage World Heavyweight Champion impressed – adding to his unbeaten record in the process.
He looks to put Charlie on his next fight card when possible.
